Patrick A. Weller, the Executive Director of the General Order of the Divine Sol, Inc. (NFP) is a U.S. Green Building Council, LEED AP and the chairman and CEO of Sol Power Energy, Inc., a California clean energy services company (ESCO) formed in 2015.
A graduate of Rockford Lutheran H.S., he is a dedicated, professional, and highly experienced electrical engineer from CCNY who has been in the clean energy field for nearly 30 years as a C-level executive in active U.S energy markets. Mr. Weller holds certifications from the U.S. Green Building Council, the NYU Real Estate Institute, Building Owners and Managers Institute, the Association of Energy Engineers, and many others.
Mr. Weller has the distinction of delivering a shovel-ready infrastructure project for the City of Grover Beach, where his strategic planning and engineering were advanced enough to immediately receive first-round stimulus funding for immediate construction projects. Mr. Weller’s standard of care has withstood the “test of scrutiny” of the federal, state, and local governments, California Investor-Owned Utilities, and respective third-party auditors.
He authored and implemented the Smart Modernization and Technology Solutions (SMARTS) program for California local governments seeking a risk-free, cost-effective means to monetize the historic American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act) grant funds.
The California cities of Grover Beach, Arroyo Grande, Duarte, Hawaiian Gardens, Bell Gardens, and the City of Carson City, NV approved the award-winning program to implement self-funding programs to modernize their public facilities. Learn more about Our Founder and review Teacher Profile.
